Key facts

  • The home must have been built and occupied before 31 December 2010 for insulation measures.
  • SEAI requires a whole-surface solution; partial wall insulation is not eligible.
  • Some homes with a previous wall grant can apply for a second wall measure under SEAI rules.
  • External insulation can require ESB Networks service alteration checks.
